In this episode of Oh Snap! we will be exploring the large cultural spectrum of the beautiful city, San Francisco. We explored many new places for this post to deliver the best possible pictures for our audience, and show to you the wonderful contrasting experiences taking place in such close proximity around the city.

Our first stop for the day was the iconic group of painted ladies, a row of prestigious victorian houses on Steiner Street, across the way from the delightful Alamo Square Park. Although stunning to look at, beware of the many tourists flocking to the popular destination for a peek at the quintessential view.

Second stop, Japan town for a glance at the hard metal structures scattering the deserted cityscape. A disparity to the familiar victorian construction of the painted ladies, Japantown allowed for a much more modern and quiet perspective of the city.

FINALLY, time for the food. Our first meal of the day took place at the most delectable bakery, Mr. Holme's Bakehouse. Mr. Holme's is a quaint little hole in the wall, made famous on Instagram for its beautiful food. We indulged in a espresso filled Cruffins (muffin and croissant) and passion fruit donuts that filled us with joy as we licked the last specks of sugar off of our lips.

Since we were in the city, we didn't really have a chance to see any wildlife, so, to fix this dilemma, we took a short trip over to the California academy of sciences to take a look at some butterflies and some fish. We got to see many exotic and mesmerizing animals and insects that furthered our perspective into the "wilderness" of the city.

To get another approach on old-timey architecture, we went to the palace of fine arts to look at the magnificent dome accompanied by the complex pillars surrounding it. The picture below shows the underside of the dome to give you a feel of the intricacy cramm

ed into every possible place of this popular tourist site.

Next stop, Clarion alley for an angle on the more grungy side of San Francisco. Clarion alley is a beautiful hall of murals coloring the hipster view of the city. A little "sketch" as the teens would say, make sure to bring a friend or two to accompany you to this awesome photo spot.

We ended our trip at a spectacular food truck joint filled with artsy poke bowls and vegan tacos to fill our stomaches and empty our pockets. Although a bit pricey, we ate amazing food that filled us up and gave us endless photo ops.
